It's always fun to work with subjects who are willing to try new things! Sara had a vision for her maternity shoot and she and I had a great time exploring ways to bring the vision into fruition. There were so many great images from the shoot. . . these are my three favorite. I'm looking forward to she and her husband seeing the rest of the images. And of course I am excited to meet the little one she is carrying!

what a FUN family! there was running, jumping, laughing, tickling and singing all packed into an hour and a half! phew! i think we all had a great cheek work-out. . . i know mine were tired at the end of this shoot! thanks guys for being so much fun!

i'm so lucky! i feel so warm and fuzzy about all these kids whom i've been photographing since they were babies! this is ethan who is now 4.5yrs old. he kept a smile on my face with all his witty remarks, and quick come backs! i had a great time with him and his parents!

it's been a year since these girls were in the studio, and a lot has changed! kamma is currently missing four teeth and ida is walking. . . no running! so much fun to see kids change and still remember where mr. spot is!?!

friday the thirteenth wasn't scary at all! rye and chet paid me a visit and there was nothing to fear. . . unless you are squeamish of two boys with endless amounts of energy! we had a great time!

it's that time of year again! we have an annual shoot and it's always so much fun for me to see my nephew and niece in action! i love that they remember things i did in shoots with them when they were babies! (sniff, they're not babies any more!)

i've known mary since she was a little baby. . . now, she will be graduating high-school in less then a year! we met up yesterday in hood river for her senior portrait shoot. with her sister emily, who styled mary and assisted me, we headed out to find the perfect locations. with so many colors and textures it was not hard to find great backgrounds. i had a great time and i think mary and emily did too!

i feel so lucky to have seen these kids grow to the point they are at! i started with sadie when she was a baby, now she's 4.5 years old, added saul into the mix when he was a newborn! and now he's almost three!
the day of our shoot, the wind was whipping and bark dust was flying. . . but that didn't stop us from having a great time!

it was a GREAT day for the pumpkin patch! we headed out to sauvie island and had too much fun! there were so many "perfect" pumpkins, the sun was shining, the cow train was an experience i will not soon forget, and the market. . . oh the market! i might have to sneak out there one more time!

shhhh. . . it's a SURPRISE! joshua and his mom came in for a surprise photo shoot! the images were given as a birthday gift to his mom. we had so much fun! joshua loved to tell jokes, which kept him laughing and his laughing kept me laughing! can't wait to hear how the gift went over!
